Also, we had a 14 years old diver. He earned 50 dives already at his age- next time, maybe trying more specialty courses.
We saw turtles, sharks, and whales – goooood day of diving!!

Sharks, Blue Ribbon Eels, and caves… - Kerama Diving

In the afternoon, we moved back to our local sites.
Had two dives at Inanbishi (aka. Anemone Fish Paradice).
Now, we have some Japanese Pigmy Seahorses living on a rock here.  Also, our friend, a Blue Ribbon Eel is still hanging around. We got nice picture of him as well.
In Japanese, Blue Ribbon Eel is called ‘Hana hige Utsubo’ which means ‘Flower Barb Eels’. Interesting.
Anyway, its blue and yellow colors are very photogenic, aren’t they?

For the last dive of the day, we went diving the ‘Labyrinth’ site by Kamiyama Island, Chiibishi. How many swimthrus did we pass? We don’t remember. The shark we always find was still resting at exactly the same place. How nice if we can take a nap in the water…

Today was another good day of diving in the Kerama Islands.
We had two dives in the Keramas, visiting two islands – Kuroshima and Zamami.
Our guest from Poland (living in Japan for 13 years!) said he was not cold at all with his long-john type wetsuit!

It’s still December, but we started hearing humpback whales singing! It will not be too far when we start seeing them – they are surely around here!

Another New Wreck near by our shop!

Today, we took the Swift out to do some dive site research dives!
Especially in winter, we go diving only by ourselves to explore dive sites more so we can guide our customers better.

*** Today’s Dives ***

Dive Sites: Inanbishi (Okinawa)
Objective: Dive Site Research
Weather: Sunny and Flat
Air: 24C (75F)
Water: 24C (75F)
Suites: 5mm one piece

We went studying our home ground dive site, Inanbishi.
We can show you all the 6 kinds of Anemone Fish we can find in Okinawa, here at Inanbishi. , just 5 min. away from Kadena Fishing Port. So the nickname of this site is ‘Anemone Fish Paradise’. :)

Today, we went a little further and explored a newly found wreck.
I’m sorry, but we cannot tell you the details and show you the pictures at the moment.
