Whales and good dives in the Keramas! (Okinawa)

Today, we saw three huge whales swimming with our boat for a bit.
The type of whales we commonly see here in Okinawa, is ‘Humpback Whales’. You can see their bent back on the picture!
I think that the three we saw today were two males fighting to get one female. They were huge – even from far away, we could here their blowing.
Anyway, after enjoying whale watching, we headed to our favorite dive sites in the Kerama Islands.
*** Today’s Dives ***
Kerama Islands
1. Ariga (Tokashiki Island)
2. Toma (Zamami Island)
3. Nozaki (Tokashiki Island)
Objective: Fun Dives
Weather: Windy
Air: 14C (57.2F)
Water: 21C (69.8F)
Suits: 5mm one piece + hood
Naoji’s group started off with drift diving at Ariga, enjoying healthy sea fans and turtles swimming by.
At Toma, Miho’s group found many types of cleaner shrimps, as well as our favorite garden eels, pink leaf fish, and many gobies.

Nozaki had some mild currents, which showed all the chromis and purple queens (there are thousands of them, literallly) very beautifully.
